Using the Right Tools

Using the Right Tools

Well I just started a project that is ridiculously complex and you know what? I reached for OmniFocus. All my back and forth in task managers but I just wanted to say one thought that popped into my head that I have for sure heard others say over and over again… [/end run on sentence] :joy:

“Use the right tool for the job.”

This morning as I think about all the apps and tools available to help me do my job(s), it really is amazing. Are any of them perfect? No. But I do have to say it’s nice to be able to reach for the right tool when I need it. :+1:t2::blush:

Yep, it’s like having the correct-sized screwdriver to finish a job. Scale up or down as needed depending on the project.

So true. I think that’s why it’s so important to focus on systems, mindsets, and process first instead of the tools because it enables this kind of flexibility long-term.

Very true! The addition of “peace of mind” that goes with that I don’t think can be underestimated and it helps you perform better!
